Our Story

Hi I’m Emma

If there has been one thing clear in my life, it is that I would always work with animals. My first job out of university was as an animal welfare assistant at The National Animal Welfare Trust. This taught me lots of valuable skills including how to read body language and communicate in different ways with dogs, cats, rabbits and even farm animals! This was when our Border Collie Leia entered our life and she taught us so much with her complex behavioural needs as well as dodgy hips and knees!

I then trained as a small animal hydrotherapist and was working in Swindon as a hydrotherapist before developing an interest in grooming.

Owning my own business was always the dream and so with the addition of Padme, our Papillon, everything seemed to fall into place to allow me to turn my dream into a reality.

The menagerie at The Pet’s Butler can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends.
