Meet The Team
Emma
From an early age, Emma knew she was destined to work with animals. After graduating from university, she began her career as an Animal Welfare Assistant at The National Animal Welfare Trust, where she developed invaluable skills in understanding body language and communicating with dogs, cats, rabbits, and even farm animals.
It was during this time that Leia, her Border Collie, joined the family. Leia’s complex behavioural needs and joint issues gave Emma first-hand experience of supporting animals with additional challenges, shaping the compassionate approach she carries into her work today.
Emma went on to train as a Small Animal Hydrotherapist in Swindon, helping pets with rehabilitation and mobility. While she loved this work, her passion soon expanded into grooming, and she pursued her Level 3 Award in Dog Grooming to turn that passion into a profession.
With the arrival of Padme, her Papillon, Emma’s long-held dream of owning her own business became a reality. Today, The Pet’s Butler is the result of years of dedication to animal care, and Emma can’t wait to welcome you and your pets.
Tammy
Tammy graduated from the Royal Agricultural University with a degree in Animal Management and Science, giving her a strong foundation in animal health, behaviour, and welfare. She began her career in professional dog grooming at the age of 18 and has now been grooming for over 17 years. Combining extensive hands-on experience with her academic knowledge, Tammy is passionate about providing every dog with a calm, caring, and professional grooming experience. Her favourite breeds to groom are long-legged terriers, particularly Irish Terriers and Fox Terriers, and she enjoys creating their traditional breed-standard trims.
Outside the salon, Tammy is a proud mum to 10-year-old twins and two much-loved dogs, Pickle and Nugget, who occasionally pop into the salon to say hello and brighten everyone’s day.
